- Diploma in Forestery as the minimum
- At least 10 years’ experience as a Forester of which at least 2 of these must be at Senior Forester level
- Contractor management experience
- Ability to manage teams to financial efficiencies
- Excellent people management skills
- Advanced fire management experience, silviculture team management experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Good time management skills
Duties
- Establish, maintain and protect plantation assets
- Adhere to all environmental, conservation legislation
- Manage contractors
- Risk/Safety/FSC requirements
- Liaise function
- Personnel development/management
- Administration
