Job Functions: Instrumentation & Equipment Management •Execute equipment qualification and validation protocols.•Perform routine preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.•Conduct instrument calibration activities according to approved SOPs.•Coordinate external calibration and servicing activities.•Ensure software compliance and validation for laboratory systems.•Assist with troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation-related issues.•Support equipment change control processes. •Liaise with external service providers and vendors. Quality & Compliance •Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation.•Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and company quality standards.•Support the maintenance of a GxP-compliant laboratory environment.•Adhere to all SOPs, protocols, and regulatory requirements. •Assist with audits and inspections where required. Training & Support •Assist in training laboratory analysts on instrumentation and equipment use. •Provide technical support to laboratory teams as required. Health, Safety & Environment •Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety requirements.•Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and hazards promptly.•Ensure participation in required medical surveillance programmes. •Promote a safe working environment at all times. Key Competencies: •Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. •Excellent attention to detail.• Good documentation and record-keeping practices. •Effective communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. •Commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience: •Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Analytical Chemistry, Instrumentation, or a related scientific field, gained through formal qualifications and/or relevant industry experience.•Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment. •Sound knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and quality control requirements within an API manufacturing environment.•Experience with laboratory instrumentation, including: •HPLC •GC •UV/VIS Spectroscopy •IR Spectroscopy •Karl Fischer Titrators s improvement.
