The purpose of this role is to deliver an efficient, consistent, and accurate billing service to Anesthesiologist clients. You will manage the financial lifecycle of procedures, from providing upfront estimates to capturing final claims. By ensuring revenue is maximized and aligned with the services provided, you will become a trusted business partner to the doctors. Duties & Responsibilities

Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate patient quotations from theatre lists before procedures.
- Capture anaesthetic claims before and after procedures.
- Apply billing knowledge to ensure claims reflect the clinical services provided.
- Process claim corrections and resubmit adjusted claims where required.
- Liaise with specialist practices to obtain theatre lists and other billing information.
- Assist patients with billing and estimate queries.
- Work closely with claims administrators to support effective debt management.
- Identify billing or system processes that could be improved.
Requirements
- Anaesthetic billing knowledge is essential and non-negotiable.
- 2–3 years' relevant healthcare or medical billing experience.
- Strong numeracy and computer skills.
- Good typing accuracy.
- Able to interpret claim information and assist with industry or regulatory queries.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- High attention to detail.
Education
- Matric.
- A relevant administration qualification would be advantageous.

Salary
The salary is market related based on qualifications, skills, and experience. The proposed salary range is around R20,000 per month. Package & Remuneration
