This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys analysing costs, identifying trends, and partnering with operations to drive informed business decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring costs, analysing financial performance, supporting reporting requirements, and ensuring financial information is translated into meaningful business insights. This position offers excellent exposure to operational finance within a demanding and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse costing reports
- Monitor operational and production costs
- Perform variance analysis and investigate cost drivers
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Support month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Analyse profitability and operational performance
- Assist with inventory and stock-related reporting
- Support financial reporting and management reporting requirements
- Work closely with operational teams to improve efficiencies
- Assist with audit-related requirements and documentation
Job Experience and Skills Required Education:
• BCom Accounting, Finance, or related qualification Experience:
• Cost Accounting experience essential • Manufacturing or mining industry experience essential • Experience working within a fast-paced operational environment • Previous audit exposure required • Financial reporting and analysis experience Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
