The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting function up to trial balance, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and supporting month-end financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Capture and process supplier invoices accurately • Maintain general ledger accounts up to trial balance • Perform monthly bank reconciliations • Reconcile intercompany loan accounts across group entities • Reconcile creditor statements and resolve discrepancies • Prepare and load payment batches for approval • Perform month-end procedures, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions • Complete utility reconciliations, including water, electricity, and recoveries • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data on the MDA Property Management System Job Experience and Skills Required:
• B.Com Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 35 years' experience in a similar accounting role • Essential experience on the MDA Property Management System • Power BI experience is essential • Strong accounting knowledge up to trial balance • Advanced Excel skills • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities • Strong organisational and time-management skills • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Apply now!
