We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminium Fabricator Technician to join our team. The successful candidate must have a strong background in the fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of aluminium shopfronts, windows, doors, and related aluminium products. The candidate must be capable of undertaking all aspects of aluminium fabrication and installation while also assisting with general maintenance duties when required.

What You'll Be doing

Aluminium Fabrication & Installation

• Fabricate, assemble, and install aluminium shopfronts, windows, doors, and related structures.
• Measure, cut, glaze, fit, and install aluminium components according to specifications and site requirements.
• Install and maintain locks, hinges, handles, and associated hardware.
• Repair, modify, and maintain aluminium structures to ensure functionality, durability, and aesthetic standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications accurately to deliver quality workmanship.
• Conduct inspections and carry out corrective repairs where required.
• Ensure all fabrication and installation activities comply with company quality and safety standards.

General Maintenance & Facilities Support

• Carry out general building maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep across multiple locations.
• Perform painting and finishing work on walls, ceilings, doors, and other building surfaces.
• Respond promptly to maintenance callouts and complete reactive repairs efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and operational condition.
• Support refurbishment, improvement, and maintenance projects as required.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and maintenance procedures while maintaining high standards of workmanship

What You Bring to the Table

• Grade 12 / Matric. • Valid Driver's Licence. • Minimum 4 years' experience in aluminium fabrication. • Proven experience fabricating and installing aluminium shopfronts, windows, and doors. • Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication techniques, materials, and installation processes. • Experience using fabrication equipment, hand tools, and power tools. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Good communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour. • Reliable, trustworthy, and safety conscious. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Takes pride in delivering high-quality work. • Positive attitude with a willingness to assist across a range of maintenance activities. • Strong work ethic, accountability, and customer service mindset.
