• Inspect rims for bubbles, scratches, paint defects, porosity and other quality issues according to required standards and SOPs. • Identify and report any faults or defects to management immediately. • Regularly check stock and consumables required at the quality station and report shortages. • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation at all times. • Ensure all quality checks are completed accurately and consistently. • Assist other departments when required and as instructed by the Operations Manager. • Follow all company procedures, quality standards and workplace requirements. • Perform additional reasonable duties as requested by management. Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Minimum 1 year's experience in the motor industry.
- Previous experience in a quality, production, wheel/rim or automotive manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of quality standards and the ability to identify defects on rims.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and presentable.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Quick learner with a proactive approach.
- Resilient, hardworking and willing to assist where required.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
