Most companies talk about AI. We're done talking – we're building it into the systems that run our business every day. We need a hands-on engineer to help us get there: not a researcher, not a theorist, a builder who ships real, working, secure solutions.
We're building our AI capability from gound up, and you'll be the engineer who makes it real. Working directly with our Head of AI, you'll turn AI ideas into production-ready tools across IT support, customer management, fraud detection and more - built properly, secured properly, and designed to last.
What you'll be doing
Designing and shipping AI-powered solutions end to end - from first sketch to live in production.
Wiring AI and LLM services (think OpenAI, Claude) into the systems we already run on.
Building security and compliance into solutions from day one, not bolting it on afterwards.
Solving the unglamorous but critical integration problems accross identity, data and infrastructure.
Helping shape the governance framework that lets us scale AI responsibly - based on what you learn by actually building.
What you'll bring
6+ years shipping real software in production - full-stack, backend or platform engineering.
A strong feel for systems architecture, APIs and integrations.
A security-minded brain: you think about data handling, access and audit trials without being asked.
Comfort picking up AI/LLM APIs and services, even if you haven't built with them yet.
A track record of turning ambiguous problems into shipped, working solutions.
Bonus points for
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or AI services.
Time spent in enterprise, internal tools or platform engineering.
A DevOps/infrastructure-as-code habit.
Exposure to financial services, fraud or risk enviroments.
