Duties & Responsibilities
The program sponsor is building the next generation of AI-powered customer experience for some of the world's most demanding enterprise brands — the kind of frontier customers who set the bar for what "great CX" looks like. They pair frontier-class large language models with deep contact centre expertise to deliver agentic experiences that materially improve containment, CSAT and operational efficiency.
The sponsor wants to train AI Engineers to join their customer service bot / AI agent team i. You'll work end-to-end across the lifecycle — discovery, design, build, evaluate, deploy, operate — engineering robust LLM/NLU solutions, knowledge pipelines and integrations across voice and digital channels, primarily in Spanish.
We are looking for someone who is curious about where AI is going, comfortable shipping agentic systems into production, and thoughtful about doing so safely and cost-effectively.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Base qualifications
A graduate applicant should ideally have
A Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in: Computer Science Software Engineering Artificial Intelligence Data Science Information Technology Mathematics/Statistics
Engineering or another strongly technical field
Coursework or projects involving AI, machine learning, NLP, software development or data engineering.
Basic understanding of generative AI and large language models (LLMs). Evidence of practical programming through university projects, personal projects, internships, GitHub projects or hackathons.
You should be comfortable with: Python fundamentals JavaScript/Node.js would be a useful secondary skill. Because the sponsor focuses heavily on customer-service bots,: Experience in Chatbot design will be helpful.

A graduate should have a basic understanding of: AI agents Tool/function calling Single-agent systems Multi-agent systems Agent orchestration Planning Tool selection

R10 000 - R15 000 per month
