The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, software engineers, data professionals, and technology leaders to architect and implement AI, automation, analytics, and intelligent application solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate still enjoys coding and prototyping but is increasingly drawn to solution design, architecture, governance, and strategic technology decision-making. Key Responsibilities AI Solution Design & Architecture Design scalable AI and intelligent automation solutions aligned to business objectives. Develop end-to-end solution architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure and Microsoft AI services. Translate business requirements into architecture blueprints and technical designs. Define integration patterns across enterprise systems, applications, APIs, and data platforms. Contribute to architecture standards, principles, and best practices. Hands-On AI Development Build proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and minimum viable AI solutions. Develop AI-enabled applications using: Azure AI Services Azure OpenAI Azure Machine Learning Microsoft Copilot Studio Semantic Kernel LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions. Build AI agents, copilots, and intelligent workflow solutions. Data & Platform Enablement Collaborate with data engineers to design AI-ready data platforms. Assist in defining data architecture requirements for AI use cases. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant. Promote data quality and governance practices. Microsoft Ecosystem Innovation Champion the adoption of Microsoft AI technologies across the organisation. Evaluate emerging Microsoft AI capabilities and identify opportunities for business value. Support implementation of Microsoft Copilot and generative AI initiatives. Drive experimentation and innovation through rapid prototyping. Essential 5-8 years of experience in software engineering, solution design, data engineering, or cloud development. Experience developing solutions on Microsoft Azure. Strong programming skills in at least one of: C# Python JavaScript/TypeScript Experience developing APIs and integrating enterprise systems. Working knowledge of cloud architecture principles. Experience with modern software engineering practices: CI/CD Git Agile delivery DevOps Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Passion for AI and emerging technologies.
