- A family is looking for an AFRIKAANS AU PAIR for their 2 children
- Area: Floracliffe, Roodepoort
- Ages: 5-year-old in Grade RR; 7-year-old in Grade 1 2026
- Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:30 – 17:30
- School Holidays: Same as above/flexible
- Duties: Transport the children from school and extra-mural activities. Prepare lunches and snacks. Supervise and assist with extra-mural activities, and engage the children in fun, age-appropriate and intellectually stimulating activities.
- Additional Requirements: Afrikaans. Christian. 20+. Own vehicle and valid driver's license. Preference will be given to a candidate with an educational qualification or someone busy studying towards an educational degree. Personality type: Soft/kind/patient. Enjoys playing games and outdoor activities with kids. Strong academically to help and explain homework concepts.
- Start date: January 2027 – Permanent | December handover period for successful candidate if possible
- Salary: R10 000 – R12 000 per month Gross, before deductions + SARS rates per km R4.95
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
- Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal childcare experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
- Must have their own, reliable car and at least 12 months driving experience.
- Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have a passion for children
- Must have Matric
- Must have a South African ID document.
