- We are looking for a driven Investment Banking Advisory professional to manage workstreams across the origination, structuring, and execution of advisory transactions.
- The successful candidate will develop deep expertise across the Advisory product portfolio, independently lead transaction-related activities, and support the growth of the Advisory business.
- This role requires the ability to deliver client-focused solutions within defined Corporate and Investment Banking risk parameters and in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Role responsibilities
- Manage delivery across origination, structuring and execution workstreams, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and ensuring quality control of all deliverables.
- Build, review, analyse, evaluate and maintain financial models to perform valuations and valuation analysis, applying principles of corporate finance theory.
- Contribute towards the financial and capital structuring of bespoke transactions through the preparation of supporting documentation, including circulars, offering memorandums, engagement letters, term sheets, fees and legal agreements.
- Assess and document risk and regulatory components of transactions, conduct due diligence and ensure continued transaction feasibility from deal inception to conclusion.
- Develop, review and update deal execution timetables and project timelines, ensuring alignment to relevant regulatory frameworks and successful deal execution.
- Develop client networks and maintain regular contact with clients to understand their businesses, financial performance drivers and support the provision of bespoke and innovative client solutions.
- Organise and prepare marketing and roadshow presentations, proposals, pitch books and client presentations, communicating regulatory, financial and market information in a clear and relevant manner.
- Foster internal stakeholder relationships across CIB, including Client Coverage, Product Lines, Risk and Legal, while managing internal processes and obtaining required regulatory approvals and stakeholder buy-in.
- Stay abreast of macroeconomic, market, industry, client and counterparty developments, generating insights and recommendations from research, analysis and modelling findings.
- Adhere to applicable policies, systems, processes and procedures, monitor financial performance, contribute to reporting requirements and provide guidance to less experienced team members
Qualifications
- Qualification: First Degree in Business Commerce
Experience Required
- Investment Banking Advisory
- 3-4 years proficient understanding of key financial concepts, with experience in interpreting client financial statements, calculating financial ratios and building financial models for more experienced team member review.
- Experience in drafting client documentation presentation books, management presentations, board materials, memoranda, and other presentation materials. An understanding of legislation, regulations and industry codes of practice.
