Start free — we apply for you →- An established professional services business based in Kloof, Durban is looking for an Advisory Assistant to provide administrative and client support to a senior advisor.
- This is a varied role for someone who is highly organised, accurate and client-focused, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up on outstanding matters and work effectively to deadlines.
- The successful candidate will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring that documentation, instructions and administration are handled accurately and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative and operational support to the advisor.
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
- Follow up on outstanding documentation, information and instructions.
- Contact clients to request documents and arrange appointments.
- Assist clients with completing and signing documentation.
- Respond to client queries in a professional and helpful manner.
- Prepare documentation and information for client meetings.
- Maintain accurate client records and update the CRM system.
- Complete onboarding documentation and submit various instructions.
- Request and monitor required compliance documentation.
- Track and follow up on various client instructions and transactions.
- Manage review schedules, appointments and follow-ups.
- Ensure actions arising from meetings are completed within the required timeframes.
- Liaise with internal departments regarding fees and related administration.
- Assist with calculations, reports and client information where required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
- Assist with general office administration and provide support to the wider team when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric + relevant qualification
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Experience with the following would be advantageous:
- Microsoft Office / O365
- Excel
- Teams / SharePoint
- CRM systems
