This role is ideal for a highly skilled IT professional with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and enterprise IT environments. Detail: Key Requirements Minimum 10 years' IT experience , including at least 5 years in senior engineering, advanced support, or architecture roles Strong experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, virtualization, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible Advanced networking knowledge including SD-WAN and Zero-Trust architectures Experience with AI/ML technologies , data analytics platforms, and intelligent automation solutions Solid understanding of compliance frameworks including POPIA, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, and CIS Controls Advanced cybersecurity experience including threat hunting, incident response, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and security automation Proven track record leading IT transformation, migration, and cloud adoption projects Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to work independently while mentoring junior team members Must be based in South Africa (Johannesburg preferred) Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments Lead complex infrastructure, cloud, and digital transformation projects Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls and threat management solutions Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards Support AI-driven analytics and automation initiatives Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams Salary Market Related show more...
