Administrator – Disability Claims

About the role: The Administrator – Disability will support the processing and administration of disability claims. The role involves maintaining accurate communication between underwriters, employers, members, and treating medical professionals to ensure efficient claims processing and reporting. This opportunity is specifically aligned to a disability inclusion placement within the YES programme , in line with client and programme requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate records of disability claims • Provide weekly updates on claims progress to relevant stakeholders • Compile weekly reports • Communicate with underwriters and medical professionals regarding claim status • Process disability and disability death claims on the system • Ensure effective communication between all relevant departments Minimum Requirements: • South African unemployed youth with disabilities aged 18–34 • Valid medical report or proof of disability • Must not have participated in the YES programme before • Matric • National Diploma in Business Administration • Completion of a Business Administration Learnership will also be considered Required skills: • Computer literacy • Strong attention to detail • Good communication skills • Customer service orientation • Numerical understanding • Ability to work in a team This opportunity is part of a structured disability inclusion placement within the YES programme .
