The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative and clerical support to management and staff.
Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to emails and enquiries professionally.
Maintain accurate filing systems, records, databases, and documentation.
Prepare, format, and distribute correspondence, reports, letters, and other documents.
Capture and maintain accurate information on relevant systems and spreadsheets.
Process and monitor invoices, purchase orders, quotations, and other administrative documentation as required.
Assist with office supplies, stationery, equipment, and general office requirements.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, service providers, and internal departments when required.
Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
Assist with administrative aspects of projects and company activities.
Ensure that documents and records are kept up to date and easily accessible.
Support management with any additional administrative duties as required.
Ensure that all administrative procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
A relevant administration qualification or certificate would be advantageous.
Previous experience in an administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Professional, reliable, and well-presented.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
