Office Administrative Assistant | Gauteng | Permanent

Our client is looking for a proactive Office Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping things organised, and is comfortable working across document management, scheduling, events, data capturing, and general office administration.

You'll work closely with management and consultants, assisting with everything from maintaining digital and physical filing systems to coordinating meetings, preparing documents, supporting training administration, and helping ensure the office runs efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems.
  • Capture and archive documentation into relevant cloud folders.
  • Maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and social gatherings.
  • Assist with planning year-end functions, awards, and related activities.
  • Take meeting minutes and distribute action items.
  • Assist executives with personal administration and scheduling.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to management and consultants.
  • Greet visitors and clients professionally and provide refreshments.
  • Obtain supplier quotations and assist with the approval process.
  • Assist with obtaining quotes, approvals, and printing of training manuals.
  • Print, scan, prepare, and organise business documents.
  • Assist with drafting and submitting certificates of completion for IR, EE, and SD training sessions.
  • Complete general data capturing and administrative tasks.
  • Provide additional administrative support as requested by management and consultants.

What You Bring

  • Previous administrative or office support experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and confident approach when dealing with clients and visitors.
  • Good computer literacy and ability to work with digital filing systems.
  • Ability to manage calendars, documents, and competing priorities.
