Job Title: Admin Analyst Start Date: 2026-07-21 - 2026-08-31 Vacancy Type: Contractor DBN003587 Sectors: Warehousing / Logistics / Manufacturing Location: South Africa - KwaZulu Natal , eThekwini Central (Durban / Pinetown / Umlazi) Salary: Brief: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Admin Analyst to manage diesel expenditure, fuel analysis, and fleet maintenance administration within our transport operation. This role is responsible for monitoring diesel costs, maintaining fleet maintenance schedules, ensuring vehicle compliance, and providing accurate management reporting to improve fleet performance and control operating costs. Detail: Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric). A Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Fleet Management, or a related field will be advantageous. Minimum 1 year of administration experience. Previous fleet administration experience preferred. Diesel management or fuel analysis experience advantageous. Experience working with transport or logistics companies. Advanced Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Outlook. Microsoft Word. ERP systems. Fleet management systems. Accounting software (Pastel or similar). Key Responsibilities: Analyse and monitor monthly diesel expenditure, fuel consumption, and fuel cost trends across the fleet. Reconcile diesel statements, investigate variances, and prepare diesel analysis and management reports. Update ERP diesel pricing and maintain accurate fuel records. Manage fleet maintenance schedules for trucks and trailers, including servicing, wheel alignments, brake tests, roadworthiness inspections, and preventative maintenance. Monitor maintenance due dates and coordinate with workshop staff to ensure repairs and servicing are completed on time. Manage vehicle pre-check compliance and follow up on all reported maintenance defects until resolved. Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly fleet, maintenance, and fuel management reports.
