Admin / Accounts Receivable Administrator (Debtors)

Introduction

BBL Security Products, a leading wholesaler of security products based in Jet Park, Boksburg, is seeking a motivated , organised and detail-oriented Admin / Accounts Receivable Administrator  to join our finance and administration team. This full-time, office-based position offe rs the opportunity to become part of a well-established and growing company . The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the finance department while taking responsibility for accounts receivable, debtor administration and customer account management. Accuracy, accountability and excellent customer service are essential for this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate outstanding items

• Process and allocate customer receipts

• Perform debtor collections and follow up on overdue accounts

• Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining positive customer relationships

• Resolve customer account queries and disputes promptly and professionally

• Process credit notes and account adjustments

• Manage daily banking and petty cash reconciliations

• Prepare debtor reconciliations and month-end reports

• Maintain accurate debtor records and supporting documentation

• Assist with general finance and administrative duties as required

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum of 3 years ’ experience in an administrative, accounts receivable, debtors or credit control role

• Matric (Accounting as a subject will be an advantage)

• A bookkeeping or accounting qualification will be an advantage

• Strong reconciliation skills

• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills

• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines

• High level of integrity and confidentiality

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience using IQ Retail (ERP Go)  will be an advantage

• O wn reliable transport
