This is an exciting opportunity for an actuarial graduate who wants to apply their strong mathematical and analytical foundation to real-world business problems.

You will join an actuarial environment where you will gain hands-on exposure to Life Pricing, Probability & Contingencies, predictive modelling and machine learning , while continuing to develop your technical actuarial knowledge and progress with your professional exams.

Key Responsibilities

As an Actuarial Graduate, you will be involved in a range of actuarial and analytical activities, including:

  • Supporting Life Insurance pricing and pricing-related projects.
  • Assisting with the development, maintenance and enhancement of pricing models .
  • Applying actuarial principles relating to Probability and Contingencies to real-world problems.
  • Working with large datasets to identify trends, patterns and opportunities.
  • Supporting predictive modelling initiatives and analytical projects.
  • Gaining exposure to machine learning techniques and their application within the actuarial environment.
  • Performing data analysis and interpreting results to support actuarial and business decisions.
  • Assisting with the testing, validation and improvement of actuarial models.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support pricing assumptions and methodologies.
  • Working closely with experienced actuarial professionals and contributing to broader actuarial projects.
  • Continuously developing technical, analytical and actuarial knowledge.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science .
  • 5 or more Actuarial exams/exemptions passed .
  • Strong academic performance in actuarial and mathematical subjects.
  • Strong understanding of Probability and Contingencies .
  • Strong mathematical, statistical and analytical ability.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career within Life Insurance and Life Pricing .
  • An interest in predictive modelling, machine learning and data analytics .
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious and eager to learn . You should have a genuine interest in understanding how actuarial techniques can be combined with data, predictive modelling and machine learning to solve complex business problems.
