This role offers the opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the security, availability, and performance of mission-critical directory services. Working alongside a high-performing infrastructure team, you will play a key role in managing and optimising Active Directory services while supporting the organisation's broader digital and security objectives.

• Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory infrastructure and architecture. • Manage user accounts, security groups, permissions, and access controls. • Develop, deploy, and maintain Group Policies to ensure consistency and security across the organisation. • Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, authentication, and access-related issues. • Implement and maintain security controls in line with industry best practices. • Ensure compliance with organisational governance standards and security requirements. • Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and support teams to integrate directory services across the technology landscape. • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operating procedures. • Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and system enhancements. • Monitor system performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and mitigating risks. • Generate reports and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and service delivery. • Utilise PowerShell scripting to automate administrative and operational processes. Experience & Skills of the Ideal Candidate
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience administering Active Directory within a large enterprise environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory design, architecture, implementation, and administration.
- Strong experience with Windows Server technologies.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Proven experience managing and troubleshooting Group Policies.
- Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
