Role Requirements To succeed in this role, you need a strong foundation in both education and leadership. A Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics or Accounting sets the stage, and a management‑related qualification at NQF Level 6 would be advantageous, demonstrates your readiness to lead. These essentials ensure you have the knowledge and confidence to guide your team effectively. Experience matters because it shapes your ability to lead with insight and empathy. You bring at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced Accounts Receivable environment, 1-2 years of supervisory responsibility would be advantageous. Your background includes time in the healthcare industry for at least 1 -2 years and exposure to banking processes, particularly bank reconciliation. This blend of experience positions you to navigate complexity and drive performance with confidence. Skills Requirements To excel in this role, you bring a strong mix of technical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. You are confident with technology, from Accounts Receivable systems to MS Office, and advanced Excel functions like VLookup and Pivot Tables. Your communication is clear and professional, whether in writing or conversation, and you listen actively to build trust and engagement. You have a sharp eye for numbers, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and you lead with empathy and accountability, inspiring your team to perform at their best. Planning and organising come naturally, you prioritise effectively, delegate wisely, and keep processes on track. You maintain professionalism under pressure, uphold confidentiality, and foster collaboration across teams. With a typing speed of 45 words per minute, you work efficiently, and your ability to train and develop others ensures continuous growth for the team.
