Job Title: Accounts Manager Start Date: 2026-08-20 - 2026-09-20 Vacancy Type: Permanent RTB003145 Sectors: Finance Location: North West , Pilansberg Salary: Market Related Salary Brief: Our client requires the services of a Accounts Manager in the Pilanesberg area, must have at least 5 years previous working experience within the mining industry Detail: Preferred Profile BCom Accounting / Finance degree (SAIPA/SAICA articles advantageous) 3–5 years' accounting experience, ideally in mining, manufacturing, or logistics Knowledge of South African tax and compliance framework Strong Excel skills; attention to detail and reliability essential Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping and Transaction Processing, Accounting Process daily accounting transactions accurately Capture supplier invoices, payments, and petty cash expenses Maintain general ledger Prepare management accounts Manage accruals, prepayments, and journal entries Reconcile bank and control accounts including supplier and payroll clearing Maintain records of income, expenses, suppliers and customers ERP Use ERP/accounting software (Zoho Books, Sage Pastel, etc) Management Accounting Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital reports Monitor operational costs and highlight variances to management Tax and Statutory Compliance Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and other returns to SARS Ensure compliance with South African accounting standards and tax legislation Liaise with external auditors and support annual audits Raising invoices, purchase or work order Raising invoices, purchase orders or work orders, related matters.
