An established organisation in Benoni is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Account Analyst to join its team. This is an opportunity to become part of a specialised industry where finance, data and sustainability come together to support meaningful environmental initiatives. The role offers valuable exposure to financial reporting, data analysis, compliance and stakeholder engagement, making it an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to broaden their experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process membership applications and respond to member queries
- Maintain accurate member records and registers
- Assist with member invoicing and debtor management
- Follow up on member tonnage declarations
- Capture and analyse tonnage data
- Prepare reports and financial information for management
- Support the Financial Manager with monthly management accounts
- Prepare interim and annual regulatory reports
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Assist with EPR fee collection and payment processes
Qualifications & Skills
- Matric
- BCom or equivalent
- Finance or Accounting modules advantageous
- 2–5 years’ relevant experience
- Proven reconciliation experience
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
