Accounts Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analytics & Tonnage Reporting: Capture, reconcile, and analyze volume/tonnage declarations, compiling interim and annual regulatory reports for industry oversight. • Membership Accounting & Debtors: Process membership registrations, issue accurate invoicing, maintain member registers, and manage debtor follow-ups. • EPR Fee Governance: Administer Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) fee collection and disbursement workflows in compliance with statutory guidelines. • Management Accounts & Audit Support: Assist the Financial Manager with month-end trial balance reviews, management account packs, and internal/external audit schedules. Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Formal Education: Matric completed; a BCom or equivalent tertiary qualification (with modules in Finance or Accounting) is highly advantageous.
• Commercial Track Record: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of solid, reference-backed experience in an accounting, analytical, or financial reconciliations role.
• Technical Competencies:

• Strong, proven accounting knowledge paired with advanced data reconciliation capability.
• Practical experience with fee collection, membership registers, and high-volume data analysis.
