Are you a recently qualified SAIPA Accountant looking to take the next step in your career? A reputable and growing organisation is seeking a driven finance professional with 1 year post-articles experience to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who enjoys a hands-on accounting environment and is eager to further develop their technical and commercial finance skills. Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• Completed SAIPA Articles

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification

• 1 year post-articles accounting experience

• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles

• Experience preparing management accounts and financial statements

• Knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and income tax

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

• Manage VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions

• Prepare annual financial statements

• Support external auditors during year-end audits

• Monitor cash flow and assist with financial reporting

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
