Minimum requirements
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Accounting or Financial Management (equivalent or similar qualifications will be considered).
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial acumen.
- 2+ years of working experience (advantageous if in a financial and working environment).
- Code 8 Drivers License
- Process and review daily transactions (Income Statement and Balance Sheet).
- Analyse and review accuracy of site data and integrity of postings daily.
- Analyse, interpret and process wetstock performance records daily.
- Track and record all method of payments ("MOPS") daily.
- Accurate and timeous site performance audits.
- Monitor, research and report accounting discrepancies.
- Conduct internal revenue and expense reviews.
- Record estimated expense provisions daily in site management accounts.
- Accurately process revenue and/or expense accruals daily in site management accounts.
- Load supplier and ad-hoc payments on the bank.
- Process Balance Sheet journals in terms of financial accounting rules.
- Perform Suspense Account reconcilliations, investigate balances, and clear before finalising management accounts.
