This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to step into a role with real ownership, covering the full range of financial accounting and reporting functions post-articles.
🛠️ What you'll be doing
- Preparing management accounts, financial statements, and reconciliations
- Managing month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensuring compliance with tax, statutory, and internal reporting requirements
- Liaising with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Using Excel and accounting systems to streamline reporting and processes
- Supporting on ad hoc projects and analysis as needed
🔍 What we're looking for
- CA(SA), CIMA, or SAIPA registration
- 1-3 years of post-articles experience
- Strong Excel skills and solid financial and accounting fundamentals
- Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working with minimal hand-holding
- Good communication skills and a proactive, commercially curious mindset
