Your Purpose

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting functions and support the smooth running of our financial operations. In this role, you’ll play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and providing reliable financial information to support business decisions.

Your Responsibilities

You will manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, process invoices, payments, and receipts, and perform regular bank and account reconciliations. You’ll monitor outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue payments, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly. You will also prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and financial statements, assist with month-end and year-end closing, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required. Throughout your work, you’ll ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

What’s Required

You should have an accounting or finance qualification, or relevant practical experience, along with proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes is essential, as is experience using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and organisational skills, and effective communication abilities. You must also be comfortable working remotely and aligning your working hours with the US (EST/EDT) time zone.
