Are you an experienced Accountant looking for your next career move? We are currently partnering with a client, based in Cape Town CBD , to recruit an Accountant to take responsibility for the day-to-day accounting and financial administration of the business.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across debtors, creditors, stock, reconciliations, payments and month-end accounting , while supporting the broader operational needs of the business. Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Customer invoicing and debtors management

• Collections and resolving customer account queries

• Supplier invoice processing and creditors reconciliations

• Preparing payment runs and supporting documentation

• Bank allocations and reconciliations

• Stock reconciliations and variance investigations

• Fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules

• Month-end close assistance

• Audit, tax and statutory submission support

• General financial and operational administration

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• CA / CIMA / SAIPA qualification will be highly advantageous

• 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role

• Experience working on an ERP system
