Purpose of Role Responsible for analysing, interpreting, and reporting financial information to support decision-making, ensuring compliance, and facilitating the financial health of an organization. Context of Role Monthly management of accounts and dashboard; Annual income and provisional tax; Annual and provisional royalty tax; Annual financial statements and audit; Internal audit; Weekly cashflow / payments; Other reporting tasks; Monthly management accounts and dashboard; Generating financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, adhering to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. Managing tax compliance, preparing and filing tax returns, and advising on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities. Preparing for audits, collaborating with auditors, and ensuring internal controls and procedures are in place to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Analyzing financial data, interpreting trends, and providing insights to support decision-making by management or stakeholders. Effectively communicating financial information to stakeholders, colleagues, and other departments within the organization. Utilizing and maintaining financial software and systems to manage and process financial data efficiently. Identifying and evaluating financial risks and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
