Accountant
My Client in the property industry has a vacancy for a energetic accountant.
Responsibilities include
- Assisting financial manager with financial reporting in the subsidiaries
- Review and/or prepare management packs
- Prepare annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Review and manage the process of preparing audit files and attending/managing auditor queries where applicable
- Ad hoc analysis and tasks as may be required from time to time which can include documenting business processes defined in meetings.
- Review/prepare tax computations, calc prov tax payments and dividend pay outs
- Prepare Tax returns on GreatSoft
- Assist with vat verifications, Income tax verifications and other SARS related tax queries
- Financial reporting to shareholders.
Candidate Requirements
- Bcom or equivalent
- SAIPA/SAICA Registration not required however beneficial
- Articles or experience at small audit/accounting practice beneficial or similar work experience
- Intermediate excel skills
- 2-3 years relevant work experience
