This role is suited to a hands-on professional with strong operational finance experience and a passion for driving accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:Own and manage the General Ledger, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactionsPrepare monthly management accounts, journals, accruals, and provisionsMaintain balance sheet integrity and investigate variancesOversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functionsManage reconciliations across bank, GL, debtors, creditors, intercompany, and control accountsDrive month-end close processes and ensure timely reportingStrengthen financial controls and maintain audit readinessIdentify opportunities for process improvements and automationSupport operational teams through financial insights and analysisMentor and develop finance team members while driving accountability and performance Job Experience and Skills Required:Qualification:Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Experience:Minimum 8 years operational accounting experienceExperience within high-volume transaction environmentsStrong month-end reporting and General Ledger ownership experienceSolid exposure to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and cashflow managementExperience with ERP systems and financial controlsProven experience leading or mentoring finance teamsBilingual in Afrikaans and English Skills:Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong financial reporting and reconciliation capabilitiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong commercial acumenExceptional attention to detailExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Apply Now!
