Looking for an opportunity in Pretoria for January 2027 ?? Are you an Accountant with 3 years experience? We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join a Property Investment company based in Pretoria East. Support the Financial Controller with relevant Accounting functions. Duties & Responsibilities
Successful candidate will have a completed B.Com (Accounting) degree or similar, as well as 3 year's commercial experience in commerce. Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles would be highly desireable. KPI's include:
- Reconciling bank accounts, creditors, debtors, and General Ledger accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT201 returns and preparing and submitting EMP201 and EMP501 reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of individual and corporate income tax returns; provisional tax calculations and submissions
- Liaising with SARS regarding tax queries, objections, and administrative matters
- Performing payroll processing and preparing monthly payroll reports
- Preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Assisting with accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance matters
- Preparing and maintaining fixed asset registers
- Communicating with SARS, and other regulatory authorities
- Performing administrative duties
- Preparing annual financial statements
- Processing and reviewing accounting records using accounting software
- LOGS (letter of good standing submissions)
- Proven ability to speak English and Afrikaans essential .
