Accountant

Introduction

One of my clients in the Food Production industry is seeking an Accountant to join their team. This role reports directly to the Financial Manager.

My client is looking for a mature, dynamic and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently with minimal guidance and can add immediate value in the Finance team. The ideal candidate must have at least 6 – 8 Years experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant

The position is based in the Vaal area, and we are specifically considering candidates who reside in that area

Duties & Responsibilities

Job description

• Trial Balance preparation / General Ledger Maintenance

• Fixed Assets Maintenance / Register

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Cashbook and Banking

• Oversee Payroll processing

• Overseeing Reconciliations

• Financial Reporting

• Management Accounts (Balance Sheet / Income Statement)

• Audit Pack creation

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications required

• BCom Degree / BTech or National Diploma in Accounting

Skills and experience required

• A minimum of 6 – 8 Years as an Accountant or Senior Accountant

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment / FMCG industry

• Must have strong ERP financial system and must be proficient in Excel

Package & Remuneration

R 540 000 CTC per annum
