A reputable organisation is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their Accounts Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong technical knowledge and a keen eye for detail to join an established team. Requirements
- Relevant Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
- CA(SA) qualification would be highly advantageous, including recently qualified CAs
- Previous experience in an accounting environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate accounting records
- Prepare and review financial information
- Perform account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
- Analyse financial information and investigate discrepancies
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Provide support across the Accounts Department
- Assist with general accounting and financial reporting functions
- Work closely with internal stakeholders as required
