Job Title: Accountant Start Date: 2026-08-17 - 2026-09-16 Vacancy Type: Permanent RTB003165 Sectors: Finance Location: North West , Rustenburg Salary: R 15000 - R 25000 Monthly (Market related, Negotiable) Brief: VACANCY: ACCOUNTANT – RUSTENBURG Location: Rustenburg, North West Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience Detail: Minimum Requirements Relevant Financial Accounting qualification Must be a qualified Accountant Completed articles are essential Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Must have proven experience working in an Accounting Firm Good analytical and numerical skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong Microsoft Excel skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate's responsibilities will include: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accounts are accurately maintained Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Perform bank and cashbook reconciliations Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management Monitor expenditure and investigate financial variances Prepare VAT and other relevant statutory reconciliations and submissions Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation Liaise with internal and external auditors when required Ensure financial transactions are correctly allocated and supported by appropriate documentation Maintain effective financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Assist management with financial analysis and information required for decision-making Identify discrepancies, financial risks and areas for process improvement Perform other accounting and financial duties as required Ideal Candidate We are looking for a professional, organised and detail-oriented Accountant with strong financial accounting knowledge.
