We are seeking a dynamic Financial Accountant to join our expanding team. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment , have exceptional analytical abilities , and enjoy working across multiple entities, this role is for you.
Minimum Requirements
- B.Com Degree in Accounting or Financial Management
- SAIPA / SAICA Articles completed or CIMA candidates wanting to complete practical’s
- Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment and manage the books of multiple companies
- Strong attention to detail
- Computerised Accounting experience in Pastel Accounting and MS Office
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Full accounting function up to Trial Balance and Management Accounts
- Processing and reconciliation of:
- Debtors
- Creditors
- Bank accounts
- Cashbooks
- General ledger
- Preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements
- VAT calculations, submissions, and reconciliations
- EMP201, EMP501 and payroll reconciliations (if applicable)
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Intercompany loan accounts and reconciliations
- Assisting with audits and providing required supporting documentation
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Implementing and maintaining strong financial controls
- Supporting management with financial analysis and forecasting
- Ad‑hoc financial tasks as required across multiple entities
