Are you a motivated, detail-oriented accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is a rapidly growing property investment company that is transforming the industry through innovation, strategic growth, and entrepreneurial thinking.
They are looking for a proactive and analytical Accountant to join their finance team at their Stellenbosch office. Reporting directly to the Financial Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial operations across multiple entities while gaining valuable exposure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Financial Manager with financial reporting across multiple subsidiary companies.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and management packs.
- Prepare annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Prepare and review audit files, liaise with external auditors, and manage audit queries.
- Prepare and review tax computations, provisional tax calculations, and dividend distributions.
- Prepare and submit tax returns using GreatSoft.
- Assist with VAT verifications, income tax verifications, and SARS-related queries.
- Prepare financial reports for shareholders and management.
- Perform financial analysis and provide support on ad hoc projects as required.
- Assist with documenting financial and business processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax legislation, and company policies.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification.
- 3+ years' relevant accounting work experience.
- Articles completed at a small audit or accounting firm will be advantageous.
- Experience within an accounting practice or a multi-entity environment is beneficial.
- SAIPA or SAICA registration is advantageous but not essential.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with GreatSoft will be advantageous.
