With a long-standing presence in the industry, the company is committed to delivering high-quality products while continuously investing in its people, processes, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
- Process journals, accruals, and general ledger transactions.
- Perform bank, creditor, and debtor reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Provide assistance during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities where required.
Job Experience and Skills Required
Education
- BCom Accounting Degree
- Honours (Advantageous)
Experience
- 1-3 years' experience in an Accounting or Junior Accountant role.
- Manufacturing industry exposure will be advantageous.
- Experience with reconciliations, journals, and month-end processes.
- Exposure to financial reporting and general accounting functions.
