Opportunity for an Accountant Duties & Responsibilities

Duties
- Manage month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Process intercompany transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and balance sheet schedules
- Prepare VAT, tax-related reconciliations, and statutory submissions
- Oversee debtors, creditors, and support audit requirements
Education and experience
- BCom Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years’ accounting experience in a commercial environment
- SAICA or SAIPA articles completed
- CIMA would be an advantage
- Experience on Pastel Accounting and/or Xero
