Are you a detail-oriented Accountant who is fluent in German and looking to join a dynamic, innovative business? Duties & Responsibilities
A leading organisation is seeking a German-speaking Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting function, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective reporting across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting function
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and statutory requirements
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management
- Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate financial records and reporting systems
- Assist with process improvements and finance-related projects
Job Experience and Skills Required
- Com Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Completed articles advantageous
- 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience
- German speaking is essential
- Exposure to the IT/Software industry advantageous
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
