Our client is a leading global mining organisation with operations spanning multiple commodities and international markets. With a long-standing reputation for innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, the company plays a vital role in supplying the resources that support modern industries and communities around the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the full accounting function for the business.

• Prepare and process general ledger reconciliations and month-end activities.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Prepare and process journals and accruals.

• Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.

• Support statutory and audit requirements.

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education

• BCom Degree in Accounting

• Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles is advantageous.

Experience

• 3 - 5 years' experience as an Accountant.

• Previous experience within the Mining industry

• Proven experience performing the full finance function.
