Duties & Responsibilities

A well-established organisation is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, analytics, and operational finance activities, while providing leadership and support across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting function across multiple entities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and financial reports

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards

• Perform financial analysis and provide business insights to support decision-making

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes

• Work closely with operational teams within the manufacturing and supply chain environment

• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function

• Utilise Oracle ERP for financial management and reporting activities

• Demonstrate leadership and take ownership of key finance projects and initiatives

Job Experience and Skills Required

• BCom Honours degree completed (essential)

• CGMA qualification highly advantageous

• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience

• Experience within manufacturing and/or supply chain industries is essential

• Proven experience managing finances across multiple entities

• Strong reporting and financial analytics capabilities

• Oracle experience is non-negotiable

• Leadership mindset with the ability to influence and drive results

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
