Company and Job Description: A well-established automotive company based in the West Rand is seeking a GL Accountant to join its dynamic finance team. As the GL Accountant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the General Ledger, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting key reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts
- Prepare and post journals accurately and timeously
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support the preparation of management reports and financial statements
Job Experience & Skills Required
- BCom Accounting
- SAICA/SAIPA Articles
- 1 years post articles experience
