ACCOUNTANT – HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY Duties & Responsibilities
An established and growing hospitality group is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and commercial insight are highly valued. Requirements:
- SAIPA or SAICA qualified, with 3–5 years’ experience in the hospitality sector
- Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs / GAAP and general accounting principles
- Proven ability in reconciliations, VAT, and month-end reporting
- Advanced Excel and Xero (or similar accounting software) skills
- Experience managing multi-entity structures is essential
- Commercially minded, with the ability to analyse performance and support budgets
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive in approach
