Our client in the Automative Manufacturing industry is seeking an Accountant to join their team based in Isando, Johannesburg. Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements
- Matric or higher.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accountingor Finance.
- Must be registered CA(SA).
- 5+ years of accounting experience in Motor Industry advantageous.
- Advanced MS Office experience.
- Working knowledge of Tax Laws and IFRS.
- Code 8 licence / own vehicle.
Responsibilities but not limited to
- Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
- Preparing financial analyses and reports.
- Preparing consolidation financial report from different branches and subsidiaries.
- Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.
- Preparing tax returns.
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
