This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional looking for a flexible half-day position while continuing to make a meaningful contribution within an established and growing organisation. Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum requirements (Advantageous)
- Relevant Accounting/Finance qualification.
- Currently registered as a Professional Accountant (SA), AGA(SA).
- Previous experience working in an accounting practice.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to
- Prepare, review and sign off confirmation letters, company certificates and agreed-upon procedure reports for accounting clients.
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports, where applicable.
- Review accounting records and reconciliations.
- Assist with tax and statutory compliance.
- Provide accounting support and guidance to clients.
- Review work completed by junior accounting staff.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and client-related duties.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within required deadlines.
