We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting functions, ensure accurate financial records, and support statutory compliance within a growing organisation. This is a hands-on role for an accounting professional with strong Sage Accounting experience, solid South African tax knowledge, and the ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines. Duties & Responsibilities
- 3–5 years’ proven accounting experience in a similar role
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field – essential
- Practical experience using Sage Accounting – essential/non-negotiable
- Hands-on experience with SARS e-Filing and tax submissions – essential
- Strong knowledge of South African accounting principles and regulations
- Experience preparing and submitting VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL and Corporate Income Tax requirements
- Experience with monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end procedures
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a high level of accuracy
