Our client, a national award-winning skin product company, is seeking an Accountant to manage the financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with tax laws.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Record Keeping: Maintain general ledgers, track daily transactions, and handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports.
- Taxes and Compliance: Compute taxes, prepare returns, and ensure adherence to local financial regulations.
- Budgeting: Assist in creating budget forecasts and analyzing spending variances
Package & Remuneration
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 2-4 years working experience in a finance office
- 3 years hands-on experience with Xero accounting software
- Analytical Abilities: Strong math skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good organization skills.
